About Graceland

Over two decades of excellence in Nigerian education

Our Story

Graceland International School was founded in 2001 by Mrs. Adaeze Okonkwo with a vision to create a world-class educational institution in the heart of Lagos. Starting with just 15 students in a modest building, the school has grown into a thriving community of over 2,500 students.

Our philosophy is simple: every child is unique, and every child deserves the best possible education. We combine the rigour of the Nigerian curriculum with the best practices from British and international educational standards to deliver a truly holistic learning experience.

Today, Graceland is recognized as one of the top private schools in Lagos State, with consistently high exam results and a reputation for producing well-rounded graduates who excel in universities across Nigeria and abroad.

🎯 Our Mission

To provide a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child develops academic excellence, moral integrity, and the confidence to become a responsible global citizen.

🔭 Our Vision

To be the leading educational institution in West Africa, recognized for academic excellence, character development, and innovative teaching methods.

💎 Our Values

Excellence, Integrity, Respect, Innovation, Community. These five values guide everything we do at Graceland.
